Writer/Producer/Composer

I first began creating lyrics and melodies of music in Junior High School at  the age of 12. I share memories of when writing for me actually first started. My mother and step-dad got a separate telephone line for my twin brother and I as a Christmas gift. I started writing lyrics for us to sing or rap on the answering machine for callers who would miss us at home.

Recognizing how easy it was to create words and melodies people would enjoy, I continued writing. Born in Toledo Ohio, June 1, 1971, I’ve been surrounded my entire life by music. My mother was part of a family singing group called the Craig Sisters. They would have many group rehearsals at our home. My uncle Barry Craig (a singer/writer/producer) was an official U.S. Navy recording artist, Barry performed in front of many Presidents during his service for the navy, and for the Queen of England. He would often have tours that would travel through Toledo and every opportunity I got, I would ask him to show me a song on the piano. Since the age of 5 years, my self taught piano playing was inspired through my uncle and many other family members showing me the way.

With playing the piano at such a young age by ear from watching and asking older relatives to show me, the natural talent of creating lyrics would fall together. The enjoyment of all styles of music has become a great meaning to my life.

The first professional recording ”I Have A Dream“ has been a great inspiration to many across the country. The song was actually written in the early 90’s, and has landed on a musical compilation album ”Dream On“ project.  I want to share my gift with the world, and this recording is one way. ”I appear to others what I know myself to be“  and that to me is a messenger sharing great songs the world can sing.
